Most foods are highly saturated with water...grapes are 90% water....the most common recommendation for a 70kg male is at least 1.5 lt. of water per day...My biggest concern is not what this myth does for adults...but what 'soccer moms' do to their children...Children are the highest risk for water poisoning. I use besides thirst the color of my urine...if it is light im drinking enough...if it gets dark I'm dehydrated...the .perfect indicator...'piss'

fractalign: At last the truth is revealed, i asked a doctor about this years ago and he said its actually 8 glasses of fluid a day and that can be anything from tea, fruit, soup and milk. Of course the bottled water companies want you to drink 8 glasses of water a day !

ichew gum: If you are concerned ! first check What your Water suppliers add, call them ! there are test kits for fluoride etc available to check the levels in your water ! If you are still concerned contact other trust worthy sites regards your concerns there are ways to remove these chemicals etc from your water, also add your voice to those who stand against fluoridation ! Remember it remains Better by far to drink enough water than not enough ! :)

Myself i find at least 2 or 3 ltrs a day but I also eat plenty of water rich foods; For your scalp include oils into the diet like Avocado's or cold pressed oil's olive,hemp etc daily instead of butters etc, Direct to the scalp top choices are jojoba oil , aloe vera ,including the hair coconut oil , castor oil that will bring back your shine

my12steptruth: The medical industry is pretty consistent in discouraging ANY health change that could actually make you healthier. They are in the business of illness. JUST TRY ONE DAY A WEEK getting 8 glasses of water in one day and you will be AMAZED at the health benefits. Truly amazed.
